MOLD
REMOVAL

Mold spreads fast, damages property, and can trigger allergies or respiratory issues if not handled correctly. BDS Environmental provides professional mold remediation services designed to identify the source, stop the spread, and restore a healthy environment. We use industry-standard testing, removal, and sanitization techniques to eliminate mold at its root, not just its surface. From residential basements to large commercial spaces, our experts ensure your building is dry, clean, and safe for everyone who steps inside.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We specialize in asbestos removal, mold remediation, and lead paint abatement for residential and commercial properties. Our certified team handles inspections, containment, removal, cleanup, and full compliance with state and federal safety regulations.

  • Yes. BDS is licensed in the State of Michigan as an asbestos abatement and lead abatement contractor.  We are certified by the IICRC and follow the Standard for Professional Mold Remediation (ANSI/IICRC S520).

  • The only way to confirm asbestos is through professional testing. If your property was built before 1980, asbestos is more likely to be present in insulation, tiles, drywall compound, acoustic ceilings, and other materials. However, some building materials installed after 1980 may still contain asbestos.  We can schedule an inspection to verify quickly.

  • Common signs include musty odors, visible discoloration on walls or ceilings, water damage, condensation, or allergy-like symptoms when indoors. We can identify the source and provide full remediation to stop the spread.

  • Lead paint is extremely hazardous, especially for children and pregnant women. Dust or chips from old paint can contaminate the air or surfaces. If your home was built before 1978, lead paint may be present. Our certified removal process keeps your family and property safe.

  • In some cases yes, in others no. It depends on the severity of the hazard and the location of the work area. We will explain everything during the inspection so you can make the best decision.

  • Every project is different, and pricing depends on the size of the area, the type of hazard, and the complexity of the removal. We offer free estimates and competitive rates without cutting corners on safety or quality.
